This 1969 MGB belonged to my uncle who made many modifications to the engine, drivetrain, interior, and body. It comes with a removable hardtop(equipped with a rolling stand for storage) and also a vinyl soft top that is collapsible and stow-away. The mileage is unknown as the dashboard and speedometer have been changed. It is equipped with a roll bar. The last time a ran and drove the car almost two years ago, I had noticed blow-by when idling. The compression seemed consistent around 120 psi, but I had not performed a cylinder leak-down test to isolate the source. I removed the original SU carbs as they were too badly maintained and damaged. I replaced with a Carter two barrel kit from Moss Motors. I also installed a Petronix electronic distributor. The original fuel pump was removed and replaced by an aftermarket electric pump. I rewired the dashboard and numerous poor electrical connections. The transmission is a 4 speed manual, with the electric overdrive switch that does work. I have numerous boxes of extra and spare parts, some literature, receipts, and a binder of notes on the car. There is also an extra engine block crated up that goes with it. There is some front body damage from someone either back into the car or started it in gear and hit something. Both from fender and the hood are bent up. The lower rear rocker panels are blistered with rust formation. I believe the paint and bodywork was performed in the early 1980s. This MGB started life in Wisconsin, then Chicago, then Texas and back to Wisconsin on 2015. The vehicle and all parts are located in storage in Wisconsin and I have moved to Arizona. That's all I can think of right now. If more information or photos are needed please let me know.
