Price: US $23,000.00 SOLD OUT
1974 Chevrolet El Camino LS4 454 TH400 AC. Original unmolested survivor, one owner, one home until this year. Numbers match and shown, has build sheet, has original 74 title, has enough paperwork to make a European car fan sell his mother into slavery for. I bought the car from the family non running. It was not running simply for sitting for near 15 or so years. It runs well now, AC works. I drive it. Paint is "fair to weak" at best, blue section was painted many years back, white looks to be original and fair. Most all components including many hoses and belts are original. The exhaust headpipe from manifolds to mufflers is original and nice. Never seen this before on a car of this year. Driver seat is worn and ripped, but left this way to show what this car is. Steering wheel has cover and is all nice under it. Dash has cover but has two cracks. Everything works on the car and that goes for the AC. This was one mans car until his death, he cared for it, used it for 133000 miles in California only and parked it when fell ill. He even has a 70s "lifetime battery" agreement with Kmart! Like to try and get that honored! Really some neat history. I bought the car assuming the motor was bad and I was going to pull it and build a 496 out of it for my other El Camino, and give this one a 15K mile 350. But the LS4 is not bad, and its numbers matching. Runs pretty darn good, no smoke, fires on all 8, decent power. So i left it alone but got it running and driving enough to use it as an around the area car. It even won first place at a car meet I took it too as best survivor last month. Won me 80 bucks! Whoohoo. There are several long attached videos that will take you through my thought process on this car and why bought it and ended up leaving alone and am offering to sell. It will show it from not running to now and I have some photos of me pulling on my dolly when I got it. No surprises here, this is an authentic nice old car that can be brought up a level or 2 and make anyone an investment level car to be very proud of. When you see my other one, you'll understand why I'm selling this one... But this one is actually more rare. Car is open to offers. Come see, drive home in area, but dont plan on a cross country road trip... that would be foolish.First Video: https://youtu.be/YdEIScqBEdASecond Video : https://youtu.be/0bXVI5Tqhb4Third Video: https://youtu.be/ZLHXVN841M8Matt Garrett - 214-878-3823
