The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details 1950 studebaker champions with 64,000 miles. I have had the car 3 1/2 years, in that time brakes have been done. Lines replaced, wheel cylinders replaced, rear shoes relined the front shoes were good, master cylinder was rebuilt. The carburetor has been rebuilt, the tune isn’t perfect but the car runs and drives great. The lights have been rewired all the running lights and head lights work. High beams and dash lights still need to be hooked up. The cluster needs to be rewired but looks to be fairly simple. The generator and starter have been rebuilt, proper 6 volt battery cables were made fresh and a fairly new battery. Currently waiting on new spark plug wires to show up. The car has a factory radio that needs to be installed and is optioned with overdrive. The car has attended many shows in the metro Detroit area, it’s done Woodward and Autorama. The car is meant to be a traditional car, it is lowered 3 inches all the way around. Blocks in the rear and the springs heated in the back, the car rides stellar. Aftermarket visor shot in ppg with Painthuffer flake and vibrance candy. Flipper caps to top off the look with a really nice set of radial white walls. The interior is as 70s job, crushed red velour with diamond pleets. It shows it’s age but still looks good. It does need a headliner. Manual transmission shifts good and the clutch feels good. This is a Michigan car, it’s not perfect, it does have a few small spots of rust, I will get more pictures this week.
