This is a very original 6 volt 1948 Willys CJ2a jeep with a PTO. It would be a very nice start to a project or finish the brakes and drive it as is. Running and Driving Jeep.Great engine oil pressure.No engine smoke.Starts right up.Carter carburetor works, but could use a rebuild. New points, condenser, clutch pedal cross tube, thermostat, and upper radiator hose.Engine temperature runs about 180 degrees as it should. Thermostat opens at 160 degrees. Clutch works well, but throw-out bearing makes noise on release. T90 transmission shifts well, does NOT pop out of second, downshifts well without synchronizer grind. 4x4 works well, shifts smooth, no noise.Roller wheels will be on the jeep just to move it, but 5 vintage 16" steel rims will be included in total.Working original under dash 6V coil and key combination.Working original 6V generator and regulator.Original gas heater under dash passenger side not tested (not plumbed).Original vacuum windshield wiper not tested.Original passenger step.Heater under dash driver side has no leaksOriginal PTO and shaft installed, but not testedOriginal Governor on engine to control the PTO. Pivots for hydraulic arms are on rear bumper. Notice 4 drilled holes by front seat where hydraulic arm controller was installed. Needs basic body work on front floors, and fender brackets. Floors have a metal pan screwed over the original, but looks like only floor rust is under hats.Notice that spare tire mount has been welded on. Rear floor is very strong. Needs new brakes, they do not work.Needs mufflerNeeds emergency brake cable.Speedometer worksHorn and lights are untested. Front bumper is bent.Windshield glass is cracked on passenger side.
