Automatic TransmissionI purchased this one owner car off e-bay Sept. 2019 . Very nice and solid car. The previous owner had it since new and kept it the garage with other classic Fords. I still have a copy of the original ebay add if interested. I paid 5K with delivery and probably spent another 10K, plus labor, fixing her up. This car runs and drives very well. I would have no problem taking it on a long distance drive. See particle list of improvements listed below. Unfortunately , I have to downsize and can't take this car with me.Complete new Restored Air system installed. I converted the belts and pulleys to serpentine. This allows usage of modern AC compressor and eliminated the alternator belt slipping. Custom machined ATI super damper installed. The aftermarket AC and serpentine parts were over 4K. AC is super cold ! Head machined for 2 barrel carburetor plate. Holley 390 carburetor installed. Made a big difference in HP.New : Starter , power steering pump and lines, one wire high amp alternator, steering box, idler arm, balljoints, front and rear shocks. Header, all new exhaust and muffler installed. New front springs to lower stance, new interior carpet, fuel pump, new tires, brakes are 4 wheel drum and looked fine wen I got the car. Gas tank looks great, replaced by previous owner. 3 gauges mounted under dash.Re-wired headlights and some accessories with modern relays. Three high power, high quality, electric fans. Aluminum 4 row radiator . HEI distributor with MSD wires. New belts and hoses. New stereo with JL Audio 6x9's and 5-1/4" in the front. Aftermarket power windows and door locks. Alarm, power trunk release . I'm sure there is more stuff that I left out but you get the idea. I used the car for dependable transportation. The car has minimal rust for its age. The underside is very rust free. I planned to repaint at some point. Back bumper has a dent. I get some water on the rubber floor mats when it rains.
