@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto); About this vehicle This 1979 Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes Odometer shows 39,000 miles, I believe it to be 139,000 miles based on prior owner service receipts. I run a synthetic blend oil and even with this slippery stuff this car barely drips any oil. Vehicle Details California classic bug convertible tuxedo paint. No rush. Great boho wedding car. 1979 was the last year the classic air-cooled bug was imported into the US. Starts right up. Runs very well. On non-op status because I want to keep the mileage low and in California every two years it requires a $350 emission tune-up to pass smog test. I start and drive it around the neighborhood every week. Garage kept. Tires less than 2 years old with less than 200 miles. Great way to get into a reasonably priced vintage car, that does not need work and should appreciate in value. I'd keep it, but I need that side of the garage for my new retirement woodworking hobby. Exterior Paint looks great in a tuxedo black and gray metallic, good top with one small abrasion over rear window. Convertible top cover and tonneau cover. Interior Interior no rips or splits Engine Engine runs well, instant start and barely any drips. Download the eBay Motors app
