The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details 1975 Scout ll XLC, (extra load capacity) please see video as it displays engine running. Runs well although on occasion it has a tick. Also video shows no smoke from exhaust. Work completed under the hood: Set of used push rods New lifters New water pump New spark plugs New spark plug wires New starter New brake booster Complete carburetor rebuild New ignition cylnder New gas tank New sending unit New exterior bulb housing New shocks. This was a California Scout then Florida. Pictures reveal solid rocker panels, no rust at bottom of fenders. Likewise on rear quarters. Lower front of rear quarters near door, patch panels were installed approximately 4"x5 ". The left quarter was dented not rusted and replaced. Same for front left fender, dented and replaced with rust free fender from arch to valance (orange section). The floor corners show sections of rust, driver's corner has 2"x4", rear passenger corner 2" x2" approximately need replacement. Other two corner appear to have rust but not necessarily needing sheet metal that it what was observed. It was not inspected by a body shop simply an observation. Not able to remove all screw holding down vinyl floor, 2 different attempts, unable to lift for photos. Able to remove cargo vinyl; some surface rust, can see solid metal throughout. Door and hood show primer that addressed dings. As mentioned this Scout starts and runs, transmission shifts, front and reverse, front suspension works well, steering and powersteering accurate. Car driven weekly around town, parked in a garage. Object fell over in gargage and broke driver window, easy to find replacement. Driver door seal removed, will rattle when on bumpy road; new window seal for both driver door and passenger as seen in photos are included. Please realize this is a restoration in progress, it is 47 years old, not a late model Honda with a 100 point check list. Know that you are buying a Scout that is all original with no modifications that is a good candidate to be restored. You will find things such as gas gauge not accurate, original radio doesn't pickup station needs antenna. Door lock need replacement, chip in the windshield. There is a wire in the rear left quarter that flickers the reflector light, causing drain on the battery. I believe the body shop didn't install wires properly as this was not an issue before it went in the shop. If you leave the battery cables on it will eventually drain the battery. Should be an easy fix. The title us a clear Florida title. Thanks for considering. Videos Exterior Interior Engine Download the eBay Motors app
