Vehicle Details This 1979 International Harvester Scout II four wheel drive has received mechanical and driveability updates during the sellers 19 years of ownership and was used as a daily driver for 6 years then recreationally for another 6 years before parking it. And then just occasional starting to move it around. This Scout shows 89,319 miles, which is believed to be true mileage and has a clean Arkansas title. Note: Scout is not in Arkansas but located in Grapeview, Washington. It has a 345cid IH engine with automatic transmission, both were rebuilt in 2001 and are operational. The following modifications were completed: 2†Backcountry spring lift with custom reverse shackle modification on front and rear, front stabilizer bar, drop down pitman arm, 4 barrel Edelbrock 1904 carburetor with mating plate, Flowmaster dual exhaust, aluminum intake manifold, DUI distributor, aluminum oil pan with cooling fins, stainless steel brake lines and aluminum engine fan. The exterior paint is the original Jade Green (5906) and is still fair quality with original striping. Rust showing on both rockers, some rust on floor pan (both sides), normal rust under body. The top was sand blasted and painted but now has surface rust. Original IH wheels are in good condition and includes a matching spare. Tires are in good condition but have some age on them and will probably need replaced. Tire size 32â€. The interior is in fair condition. The front bucket seats and rear bench seat will need to be reupholstered, but the headliner and floor mat is in good condition. The rear bumper was removed but is still with the vehicle and in good shape. The original clock, radio, A/C and cruise control are present, but most are not operational.
