I want you to know exactly what you are paying for.. thanks for looking and happy bidding on this one of a kind truck Vehicle Details This is a super rare 1978 dodge D150 with a stock 6DR5 diesel motor in it that dodge only offered for one year.. truck is 95% all original the only thing that has been changed on it is the radio and possible rear bumper. Truck runs and drives great besides the lack of power the motor puts out so it’s great for country and city roads just not the freeways, supposelly there were under 10 of this exact truck made.. this truck for sure draws a lot of attention… I will guarantee you that any car show you go to you will be the only one with this truck. Exterior Everything on this truck is all original paint is faded like most all cars but looks good when waxed.. on the passager side there is a dent upfront and in the back as seen in the pictures but this truck is solid no rust in and panels or underneath. I have been to many car shows with this truck and it always draws attention due to that no one has ever seen this set up in actual real times, the original owner who I bought it from told me there where under 10 sort bed with manual transmission with this motor built.. I’ve done a lot of research on these trucks and haven’t come up with much only a few other long beds that have ever been posted over the last ten years. Interior The interior has the upgrade trim that was offered with the plaid seats which are still in great shape which you never see in these trucks… there is a small tear in the driver seat as seen in pictures Engine What you have here is the extremely rare 6DR5 Mitsubishi diesel motor that ford did offer for one year in 78.. motor runs and drives great only has 79000 miles on it, that being said this is a city or country road kinda truck not freeway friendly unless you like going 65 and pissing people off behind you.
