Offered for Sale is a Numbers Matching 1974 Corvette Coupe with a 350 CU L48 195 HP Engine, and a 3-Speed Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission. Highly Original Car with Original 10L White Exterior Paint, Silver 407 Trim, Air Condition and Power Steering. The Car Came from an Estate, and Had Not Been Driven for a Number of Years. A Complete Tune-Up was Recently Completed on the Engine, and the Vette Now Starts Easily, Runs Strong, and Does Not Overhead. The Steering is Tight and the Shocks are Firm. This Vette Drives Down the Road Smooth, Tight, and Very Straight, and has a Lot of Power. Front Brakes (Rotors and Calipers) Have Been Replaced and the Car Slows Down and Stops Fine, But the Brakes Appear to be a Bit Stiff. The Tires are in Very Good Condition. The Undercarriage and Frame Rails are in Very Good Condition, with NO RUST Flakes and/or Chips of Any Kind Found Inside Frame Rails. The Vette is Solid! The Body is in Good Condition with Good Lines, a Few Minor Chips/Scuffs, and Cracks on Only the Front Bumper Nose (see picture). Paint Appears as if it Could be Original, and Has Age/Stress Cracks and Wear. This C3 Shows Well, and is What I Would Characterize as a Nice "10 Footer" Car. The Interior is in Very Good Condition. With the Exception of the Clock, All of the Other Instruments Appear to be In Good Working Condition. The Carpet, Seat Cushions, and Glass are in Good Condition. The Air Conditioning - Which Appears to be GM Factory Original - Does Not Blow Cold...Could be Issue with Freon. Modification Noticed Include Replacement of Original Radio, Chevy Bowtie Emblem on Hood, and "Heartbeat USA" on Side of Coupe Top. Known Modifications to the Engine Include Replacement of Intake Manifold, Installation of a MSD Performance Distributor and Performance Headers, and Replacement of Original Air Clear Assembly with a Smaller Unit to Accommodate the MSD Distributor. Included with the Sale are the Original Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifolds, Distributor, and Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner Assembly. This C3 is in Very Good Original Condition, and it Would Not Take Much Effort to Get it Back to Stock, Out-of-the-Showroom Condition. The Odometer Shows Just Under 90,000, But Not Able to Verify if Actual Miles. This C3 Could be Enjoyed, Driven, and Shown at Car Shows Today with Pride as it Sits Now. Based on the Originality and Excellent Condition of Engine, Interior, and Undercarriage, as Well as the Solid Body, Replacement of the Front Bumper Cover and a Standard Paint Job Would Bring this Vette Back to Near New Condition and Likely Position it as a Hagerty #2 1974 Corvette Coupe with a Potential Value of Up to $30,000.This Beautiful Corvette is Located an Hour from Grand Rapids, MI, and is Available for Review and a Test Drive Upon Request.
