1957 Fairlane 500 (E Code) for sale. This E Code is the correct Colonial White and Cumberland Green with one recent repaint using PPG base coat clear coat materials. The engine is the original 312 CID with factory two Holley four-barrel carburetors topped by the original H1 air cleaner. It has the original automatic transmission. The car has 45,152 miles. It has all new correct interior, however, still has the original interior paint on the metal components (dash, upper doors, steering column, etc.). The steering wheel and horn ring are also original. It has the original floor pans and truck pans with original paint and no rust or patches. The car has all new glass with the original window regulators that work perfectly. A new rubber seal kit has been installed for all glass, doors, trunk, etc. Underneath the car and all original sheet metal are rust free. The car is not a frame-off restoration, but the frame and underneath has been cleaned and painted nicely with no rust. The car shows no signs of ever being wrecked. Most of the trim on the car is original and the bumpers have been re-chromed. The wheel covers are original to the car. The original AM radio comes on but does not play. The heater and defrost work as they should. It has a new gas tank, new exhaust, and drum brake components. I’m sure that I have left out some things about this factory E code car.
