Original car that has not cobbled together from a pile of old parts. •Completely rebuilt drivetrain and suspension, ready for touring. Bored .030 with hi-compression forged pistons, block, crank (EE crank) and head magnafluxed. New main and rod Babbitt. Stipe cam with new valves, tappets, springs, cam bearings and timing gear. Head and block surfaced, Pan straightened on a KR Wilson jig. New exhaust manifold, exhaust and carberutor rebuilt by Russ Potter.Coils and Magneto done by RV AndersonTransmission drums magnafluxed with Kevlar bands. Car was mechaically rebuilt 8 years ago. Re-cored flat tube radiator, runs cool. Suspension work - Front axle straightened and fitted with new kingpins and tie rods, NOS U-Joint, new fun projects pinion bearing, New ring & pinion, axles, relined service brakes with new rods. All pins and bushings replaced. Battery two years old, tires and tubes are 8 years old. Wiring replaced, generator and starter serviced, Wood floors are original and excellent condition. Fuel tank is clean and rust free, shut off valve is new. Approximately 700 miles on the car since it was rebuiltPretty quick for a Model T, it can pass some Model A’s on tour. Body, chassis and interior have never been apart by the looks of the original hardware. Body is completely rust free, no rust through, just surface rust. Fenders have some “whiskey bruisesâ€. Body preserved with Boiled linseed oil, Penetrol and a few ounces of flat black. Some of the original pinstripes are still there and door jambs are have the original black paint.Midwest car until I purchased it.Interior, headliner and top are original. Being so original and unrestored is very unusual and guaranteed it draws a bigger crowd than the trailer queens. If you are looking for an ultra reliable early car this is it.
