1938 Auto Union ReplicaUp for your consideration is a unique opportunity to own a 1938 Auto Union replica. The vehicle was acquired through a local estate sale from the builder who handcrafted and proudly displayed the vehicle in his living room for the past decade. The vehicle is all hand built but also equipped with prized European parts such as the Turrino Wheels warped with Excelsior radial tires, Alfa Romeo Sinistro brake drums, isspro gauges, and Wilwood brake components to name a few. The vehicle is powered with a 4.2L Vortec straight-6 with 275 hp backed by a Porsche 914 5 speed gearbox. Motor has less than 3000 miles and gearbox was completely rebuilt prior to insulation. A few noted topics. Although the tires have less than 5 miles on them and show us new they are coded due to age. Also the transmission dose have a difficult time shifting into reverse.
