MG T-Series.1954 MG TF ROADSTER Up for auction is this very nice solid rust-free driver. A lot of time and money have been invested in this car. The car has participated in the 50th T series cross country rally and celebration. This is a number matching car. The former owner had the 1250 engine rebuilt. It was bored out and fitted with 60+ pistons. The cylinder head was professionally restored with new valves, springs, and hardened seats. SU Carburetors have been restored. There is the typical oil rear seal leak.Stainless steel exhaust is from moss motors.Wood steering wheel is a Moss tourist Trophy wheel and hub.The body was removed and had some lower and rear timber replaced. Paint is DUPONT base coat, clear coat dark red. It is close to the original color. The underside of the fenders are coated with a color matched urethane bed liner.The new leather interior is from Sports Classics. The top and side curtains are older and in good shape. Most of the chrome has been re-chromed.All new brake hoses, and shoes were installed.Tires are new. If you are looking for a very nice presentable MG Tf, you may want to consider this one.
