Price: US $13,500.00 SOLD OUT
1930 Model A Rat Rod. Included is an up to date title for a 1930 Model A coupe. Professionally built custom frame. The body is in fair condition but that was the look I was going for. The frame is custom built by Brian Birkhofer and is set up for a Flathead Ford and AOD transmission that I also have available but are NOT included in this listing. There is a visor that also goes with it and is the only thing that is not pictured that is included. The wheels are 32 Spoke 16 X 4 with a 5-1/2 bolt pattern. Freshly powdercoated black. The tires are Excelsior 7.00 R16 Stahl sport radial on the rear and 5.00 R16 Stahl Sport radials on the front. Complete new front end with drilled drop axle. New aluminum radiator with electric fan setup. New Speedway headlights with custom yellow glass lens'. New aluminum fuel cell mounted along with a custom battery box. The brake lines and calipers are also included. There is a quick release steering wheel setup for easy entry. Franklin Quick change rearend that has been gone through and rebuilt. Coil over rear shocks. New driveshaft for the drivetrain setup. The exhaust is included and setup to pass through the frame side rails on exit. The frame and craftsmanship are spot on. I will assist with shipping if need be. The motor and transmission are also available. The motor is NOT assembled but is ready to go. It is a Flat Head 49 Merc 255 110HP. The motor comes with a complete Egge Machine engine kit along with a special grind Egge cam.Cam bearings .010 rods and mains, oil pump, gasket set, timing set. .030 pistons and rings and also adjustable lifters. Brand new Offenhauser Aluminum Heads and stud kit. The intake is an Offenhauser setup along a Speedway Motors 9 Super 7 dual carb setup. The exhaust manifolds and complete exhaust are here also. The waterpumps are the stock ones that have been rebuilt. The transmission is a Ford AOD setup with converter that was rebuilt and ready to go. There is also a Speedway transmission adapter so it can be bolted directly to the Flathead. I figured this would be a good setup that you could cruise down the road with. I would include the engine and transmission for an extra $6k. I would possibly be interested in something of equal value + or -. I probably wouldn't be interested in another project. The worst I can say is no. I quit counting when I got to $20k with this one. Call me with any questions. Brian 563-26O-53OO
