Selling my fully documented real 1965 Pontiac Tempest GTO coupe. Appraised at $30,800, appraisal and PHS documents in pics! Only 8,319 of this type of GTO made. Runs and drives great! The car was just mechanically restored, has a 4 speed manual trans with a new clutch and flywheel, AC compressor is there but not hooked up, new aluminum 3 row radiator, Pontiac 400 that was just gone over and freshened up. This is not the original motor which was a 389. We do have the original 6 pack carburetors and intake manifold though. Rest of drive train is original equipment and gearing. New distributor, oil pump, fuel pump and Eldebrock 750 carb. Starts right up and runs great! New gas tank and fuel lines also. We replaced the 4 wheel drum brakes with 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, booster, master cylinder, proportionating valve along with new brake lines. New shocks, new tires, new carpet and many other new interior items to lengthy to list. This car is mechanically sound and just needs your paint job to make it yours and not someone else's personal touch. Or you could triple your investment by finishing the car if your looking to flip it for a profit.GTO history: In 1964 and 1965 the GTO was an optional package on the Pontiac Tempest. The 1965 GTO VIN started with 237. The GTO became a separate model from 1966 to 1971 with VIN starting with 242. It became an optional package again for the 1972 and 1973 LeMans. In 1974 the GTO became an optional package again for the Ventura.This cars Texas Title is bonded until 10/22/23 (3 years from original bond) because a previous owner died and obviously wasn't able to sign the title over to the buyer. Do your research on bonded titles before you instantly discount this car. The only way this bonded title doesn't turn into a legitimate title on 10/22/23 is if the previous owner that died comes back to life and reclaims the car. I know only one person who's ever done that, Jesus Christ and He is God :) The original bonded title and the one we currently have are in the pics.
