Mint Condition 1979 Chevrolet Malibu Coupe. This is perhaps the lowest mileage example of a 4th Generation Malibu with only 1,900 original miles. The color is Carmine Metallic. The transmission is a 3 speed manual paired to a 3.3L 2-BBL V6. Car is all original with the exception of the rally wheels, BF Goodrich Radials and the Center Caps. The original OEM Rims, Tires and Caps come with the car. Additionally, a new headliner was professionally installed. It has been part of my classic car collection for the last ten years and has only been stored indoors climate controlled and has never been driven in inclement weather or during the winter. The car is as clean underneath as it is elsewhere. The car sports the rare JRR1 Carmine Sport Cloth Bench seat. The interior is all original and immacualte. The car was originally ordered from GM as a Radio, AC and Power Steering Delete car with manual windows. The original owner ordered the car with the intention of converting it to a hot rod with a new crate motor, though he never did. As the second owner, I was tempted to do the same -- but given the incredible condition of the car never did. I did replace the original rims with brand new GM Rally wheels/caps as well as the tires with BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s. The new tires have less than 200 miles on them. The car still has the GM cardboard floor-mats from the factory. It has only ever had non-ethanol gas in it and runs great.
