My friend and custom car builder built this very nice Roadster in 1991 for himself. He has driven this car for over 51 thousand miles with no problems and has updated it several times. The 29 Roadster Brookville body is mounted on 32 Ford rails with a 1968 Corvette independent rear-end with 350 gears. Front suspension is Chrome TCI independent, and it drives nice. The paint is older PPG but looks great. It does have some very small chips along the frame rails but very small. (Hard to see in the pictures) The flames are a custom rap not painted on. The cool stripping on the trunk lid was done by custom stripper. As you can see it is running a 32-grill shell with custom 3 peace hood to fit over the Big Block Chevy Engine. The Engine is a 1990 454 LS6 with roller cam, rockers, all balanced and it has about 2000 miles on its rebuild. (it runs strong) A 400-turbo transmission backs up this impressive engine. The car has disk brakes all around and drives like a go-cart. The top is removable, and the car has removable side curtains for long distance runs. It has a 20-gallon full tank and cool electric cowl vent for cool air when driving. The interior is a custom job by well-known upholster Gorge Frank and is done in red leather. (Very nice and very well done) I'm listing this nostalgic Hot Rod for my friend that just lost his son in a traffic accident. He was going to give it to his son but has decided to just sale it.
