1971 Datsun 240z Series One 4 speed manual 48k Miles. This 240z is being sold out of a collection and has been stored inside since new. There are documents dating back to the original owner and it retains it's original window sticker and all numbers are matching. If you look at the documents photo you will see a book that features this actual car on the cover. In 2005-2006 it was partially disassembled and given a complete respray (photos available) including the engine bay and the engine was also detailed and repainted to factory specs. About that time the SU's were replaced for Weber's for reliability and service but the original SU's and airbox are included. The ignition system was also upgraded to improve reliability. There are many more detailed photos that can be shared and there is a link that is a Youtube video of the car driving and the engine starting. In 2006, any rust was addressed and fixed at that time. There is some surface rust on the underside as seen in the photos but this car is in amazing original condition. Included in the sale is another set of modern Konig wheels so you can preserve the original wheels and hubcaps and a set of the optional dealer slotted mags that have been polished and restored and are ready to for new tires. This 240Z is a great car to drive or show and will only go up in value as it is the rare series one with the vents in the rear hatch and the vertical defroster elements in the rear glass.
