This car was restored around 1990, but was never fully completed. The engine was completely rebuilt and fitted with a Weber downdraft carburetor. The car was stripped down to the body tub for restoration. It has new fenders, rocker panels and partial rear quarter panels. The original rubber bumpers were replaced with chrome bumpers. The lacquer/clearcoat paint is checking and peeling in a few spots, the worst area is the right rear quarter panel (see 5th photo) The hood was repainted a second time and needs to be buffed out. There is no rust on the body. The chrome bumpers are somewhat pitted, the chrome wire wheels are in good condition. The car is currently not running and has not been started for about 5 years. Ignition system needs work, brake master cylinder and clutch hydraulics need to be repaired. I'm including a lot of extra parts not shown in the pictures, such as tonneau covers, extra engine parts, etc. The seats are also included but will need to be reupholstered. It comes with a new convertible top that will need to be installed. It will also need a new battery. A lot of little odds and ends need to be finished up, but all the major items have been completed. I've tried to list all the paint and mechanical issues that need to be addressed, however I cannot understate the condition of the body. It's close to perfect, you wont be disappointed.
