1956 FORD F100 SHORTBEDThis is a solid project for a builder. You may be able to get it running and with some work, use it as a rat rod or patina rod. Below are all the details. I do not have a title but I will supply a notarized bill of sale. I can also assist you in the process to title it. The VIN tag is on the truck. The 1956 fords are one of, if not the most popular ford pickup ever to be built into street rods, rat rods, original resto's, 4x4's etc. Everything you can think of is available aftermarket for this truck and many parts are very affordable due to the popularity of them. I can assist with the shipping process also if needed. I have undercarriage/underbody pics I can send. MECHANICALThis pickup has a y-block v8. I have not tried to turn it over. It is complete for the most part except for the air cleaner. I do have the carburetor. This has the three speed manual on the column. I have not tried the brakes or anything electrical or mechanical on the truck. It rolls and steers fine and the tires hold air. BODYThe body is solid for the most part. The pics tell the story. It could be cleaned up and ran with just the patina paint. There is some rust which I will detail. There is minor rust on the drivers side floor that will be an easy repair. Both cowls have rust on the bottom which is common. The drivers side cab corner has minor rust, the passenger side does not have rust. There is rust on both sides of the bed, right below where the spare tire goes. This is flat metal and a very easy repair. You can't see in the pics because someone screwed small pieces of sheet metal over it. The tailgate has a piece of sheet metal screwed on the bottom also. I did not remove that so it could have rust, just not sure. The door latches need work. The truck needs a glass kit. The sills and jams are fine. Inner fenders are good. No roof rust or dents. It may need one hood hinge. I didn't investigate it too much but one hood hinge is either broken or not completely attached properly. Running boards are a little rough but new complete sets are available and not too expensive. INTERIORThere is not much interior to speak of. The dash isn't cutup. The seat frame should be usable to re-do. This old truck is used and sold as-is. .aucCounter a { text-decoration:none; }.aucCounter span:hover { text-decoration:underline; }.aucHiddenCounter { display:none; }.aucCounterOrangeText { color:#FB6D05; font-family:Arial; Font-size:13px; Font-weight:bold; }.aucCounterBlueText { color:#0068ac; Font-family:Arial; Font-size:11px; } Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
