The 400 Hi-Po 4-speed cars have the factory forged crankshaft. Neither the forged crank nor the 4-speed were available on the 440, making this the last of the stick-shift big block forged crank Mopars. The car is a very original, very strong #3. Would be a good car to detail into a #2 or leave and enjoy as an original. Very clean underneath. Repainted in the original color, very nice job, with only a few chips. Seats and door panels look original with no rips or tears. Engine is still the original blue and appears not to be rebuilt. Has the correct air cleaner with the rounded inlets. Still has the seatbelt interlock module that was only installed on cars produced earlier in the 74 model year. I bought the car about 5 years ago and had it shipped to me by enclosed transport from Portland, not realizing how rare it was or how original it was. I couldn't bring myself to modify the car, so it sat in a climate controlled garage except for the occasional cruise. Factory air conditioning is not operating but appears complete. Tires have maybe 150 miles on them and are about 5 years old. Gas tank and lines are fresh, it starts every time, and runs very well. Rare enough, and special enough in terms of equipment, to be a good investment car. A nice car to cruise with as-is or enjoy occasionally. A good car to detail up into a show car.
