In the 1950's the Bel Air launched a revolution that defined cars from that era and took styling cues from the Army and Aviation industry. Just look at that classic grill and mean stance!!This 53 Bel Air has a motor and transmission from a 1971-72 Nova, combo is SBC 350 mated to TH350 (3speed) trans with a new Elderbrock carburetor w/ custom K&N Filter sitting on a 71 Monte Carlo chassis. This combo operates, performs and runs perfectly!!! Look at that properly dressed engine bay with all the modern goodies"!! The growl from the motor is amazing, many compliments here as people stop you everywhere and start conversations... :)This unit is considered to be part of the "low rider" community as it's sitting on full custom Hydraulics...each corner slams down or way up. I have videos, just ask!The motor sounds incredible with the custom Corvette type side dumping mufflers accentuation the exhaust note!The paint is custom, shines beautifully with its sparkly metal flakes and high gloss finish.
