This is my beloved 1961 Karmann Ghia Coupe. It runs great and has a low mileage 36hp engine on it with automatic choke 28 pic carb. the original color was light blue with a white roof. i have stripped the primer off to the original paint. some time at it's life, it has the rear driver's fender replaced (welded on). bumpers are rusty. tires hold air. battery does not convey, but car runs on 6 volt. two hubcaps included. brakes are decent, but could use adjustment/bleeding. e brake works, but again, could use adjustment. car shifts, runs, drivers. NEW starter! could use generator brushes in a bit. floors have some rust (you won't fall through (mostly confined to under driver's seat) I have a wood board bracing the seat. the seats are from a 1980s honda. the rear seat is original and black. has it's original clock and odometer. has a dash pad and speaker cover in parts. no seat belts (1961 didn't need them). original glass. no interior panels (as they didn't come with it). car is located in harrisonburg, va. if you don't want the engine. I can make a better deal on the car (specify in your offer, please). some rust on rockers as well. good start.
