1967 MARINA BLUE CHEVELLE SS396 CONVERTIBLE RARE - VERY FEW 1966 / 1967 CHEVELLE SS396 CONVERTIBLES WERE BUILT SS396 MUSCLE - REAL 138 VIN - NOT a Clone or Tribute Here is a little more information on my 1967 SS396 Convertible: Engine bay and underside are immaculate , with dabs & markings. Engine is NOM (shows as 1965 block). Estimated 350HP, with roller rockers under the stock valve covers and Headman ceramic-coated headers - runs very strong. Also has MSD ignition & distributor and Griffin 'old-style' aluminum radiator - painted black. The list of recent upgrades is over $10,000 in parts & labor: New Headman Ceramic-coated Headers Comp Cams Roller-rockers MSD Distributor MSD 6AL Ignition New Griffin 'Old-Style' Aluminum Radiator New Stainless Steel Exhaust system New KA-1 front Coil-over shocks New rear shocks Chrome Cragar Mag wheels (15x7 & 15x8) New high-amp alternator 300 Watt AM/FM/MP3 'Chevrolet' Stereo w/upgraded center dash speaker Transmission was changed from automatic to a date-code-correct 1967 M20 wide-ratio 4-spd (original automatic goes with car). Original 3.31 posi 12-bolt rear end. Wide-ratio 4-spd has a lower 1st gear than the M22, so it is a perfect match to the original 3.31 rear gear - the car is fast!!
