This car was was assembled in Mexico city at "Armado En Mexico POR Representaciones Delta S.A." The car retains the original Solex carburetors, and fuel pump. I also have the original spare tire, tire iron and car jack. THE CAR SHOWS TO HAVE BEEN RED BUT FROM WHAT WE WERE TOLD FROM THE FAMILY ITS ALWAYS BEEN GRAY. THIS WAS PURCHASED FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNERS FAMILY YEARS AFTER HE PASSED AWAY. WE HAVE DOCUMENTATION FROM OCTOBER 31ST 1958 STATING THE CAR SERIAL NUMBER "8501109" THIS NUMBER CAN ALSO BE FOUND STAMPED ON THE DOOR JAM, UNDER THE HOOD AND THE VIN PLATE, ITS ALSO STATES THE ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER BEING "1219218501280" THIS IS ALSO THE ORIGINAL MOTOR STILL RUNNING IN THE CAR TODAY! THIS 190SL WILL RUN, BUT NEEDS TO HAVE THE CARBURETOR GASKETS REPLACED, THEY LEAK REALLY BAD WHEN CAR STARTS.
