FOR SALE- 1 OWNER TRUCK 1966 Chevy C-10 Short bed, Fleet Side Original 283 V8 3spd on Column 100% original truck 1 original owner Up for auction is a freind's great grandfather's truck. It was last driven in 2007. The original 283 V8 motor still turns over freely and the truck is 90% rust free (usual rust on rockers, and on bed cross rails below wood). The doors on the truck open and close with ease, no sagging, no binding, nothing. The original ignition is still in the truck with the original key. The original 3spd is in the truck as well. The original gas tank is still behind the seat with the orginal cardboard cover over it. The original seat is in the truck but does have a seat cover on it. The truck shows 39k miles, and that is the accurate miles. However in the state of Virginia, being a 5 digit odometer and over 20 years old, they mark the titles as "exceeds Mechanical Limits, because they say there is no way to know if it tripped 100K miles or not. The truck has always been in Virginia since it was purchased. The owner of the truck is still living at the young age of 91. He is a World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veteran/Survivor.
