The car has never seen a drop of rain during my ownership. I have only put about 1,600 miles on it in the 5 years I have owned it. You can only determine the type of engine either 6 cylinder or V8, the year and the plant produced. You can not determine the exact engine installed in a first generation Chevy Camaro by the VIN. The 1967 Chevy Camaro was the only model to have the vehicle identification number (VIN) tag mounted to the door hinge pillar. VIN tags on later models are visible through the drivers side windshield. I looked this up under Chevy Corvette engines codes and it breaks down as follows:T = Tonawanda NY Assembly Plant04 = Month04 = Day (there was no year)IP = 1966 427 Mt SHP 425 VetteTwo items missing from the car - radio speakers, the original radio is in place but the speakers where removed by previous owner.
