Barn find from Altus, Oklahoma. Older gentlemen collected T-birds and had more than 20 in his barn. He passed away 18 years ago and the vehicles had been sitting since. My father and I bought four from the collection, and this is the final offering. This 1963 green coupe is in need of total restoration. The true miles are unknown, but I have registration records dating back to 1979. The motor turns freely, as well do the wheels. THE VEHICLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED. We cleaned the body and chrome as best we could, and noticed minimal pitting and surface rust. Q-ring seals are good as well as the headlight seals. All panels and chrome pieces are present as far as I can tell. There is significant bondo work on both sides of the body. As far as options, this bird is fairly plain. No A/C, no power options,but it does have the slide away steering wheel. It also has the wheel skirts and all four wheel covers. This 63 makes for a good base; it just needs someone to begin the mechanical work. I did the same to a 1965 from the same collection that I will be selling as well.
