1956 Chevrolet 2 door Bel Air hardtop, the car comes with a 283 v8 and a 2 speed Power Glide transmission. The car is being removed from a collection because of a lack of space. The car is a good driver, it has been driven locally around where it is stored but in the last few years it hasn't seen a lot of driving so it is probably due for a service and a once over. The car starts right up idles away and even after sitting a couple of months the battery has lots of charge. Everything seems to work and the tires are in good shape. The car was purchased at a vintage car auction so I don't know the details of the restoration, the car has been repainted I'm sure and the interior has been redone in the original style. The car shows very well but if you get close up there are flaws in the body. The underside of the car is very original and there doesn't appear to be any rust issues although if you had it on a hoist and you really dug I'm not guaranteeing you wouldn't find a soft spot. All the trim is in nice shape on the car and probably at one point was replaced or replaced, the stainless has been polished and shows nicely. The car has the original style Firestone bias ply tires that have tons of tread. The car is located in Abbotsford BC Canada and it comes with a clear Alberta Canada title, I specialise in exporting diesel truck parts and I am willing to help in any way possible to export the car. I have connections to ship the car anywhere over seas and for shipping to the US I can deal with all the import into the States for $1000 and that would have the car delivered to a holding yard in Blaine Washington.
