1965 Pontiac Grand Prix (Blue/Black)

Price: US $4,750.00 SOLD OUT

Selling my 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix. I've had this car for about 15 years, until recently it has been garaged with occasional driving. The car is original with the exception being what I was told when I bought it, the engine. The engine is said to be a  400 from a later model rather than the original. The following are some notable items: -Included when I purchased it were some heads, potentially the original heads, as well as a full added set of 8 lug rotors with the small hubcaps. Also the A/C unit and some misc. items. (see photos) -Body has original paint. There is a noted "patch" on the driver rear 1/4 panel that is minimal. There is a small cracked rear tail light, and some general slight surface rust only is some areas. An area on the front bumper is slightly uneven (but can be easily straightened from what I've been told). The rear bumper is generally straight with some slight surface rust maybe a slight ding. -All the trim exists and in good shape. A single GP (Grand Prix) emblem is missing. -All glass in place, including the unique rear window. The front window is cracked. -Original 8 lug wheels and well skirts. Tires are good. -Original interior, better than average for this age, front seats with minimal tearing, rear seat in great shape. See photos. -When I bought it a mechanic was very impressed as to the condition of the under carriage. I have new springs "in the box" that have never been installed. -The brakes were working fine when I bought it. -There has been some leaking underneath, oil. The longest I drove it was when I bought it. I used about half to a quart of oil on a 600 mile drive. -The double exhaust is in place, but an exhaust hanger failed and one pipe is hanging low, the bracket needs to be fixed and the near bracket pipe clamp needs to be re tightened. -Purchased it from North Idaho. Likely a Montana/North Idaho car originally. Selling as I have little time and some health issues to do a full restore myself. Have not wanted to sell in the past. The car is in good shape relative to its year and in comparison to other similar cars out there. Maybe you know about this "gentlemen's GTO" or maybe not, awesome styling, bottom line $4750 or best offer. (this is my first listing on EBAY, photos coming later today).  I'm assuming has over a 100000 miles, not sure of the exact amount or exact history. It is sold as is with no warranties. The car is located in Salt Lake City, UT
