It has a Fresh Chevy 350 engine, automatic transmission, it was badged as a SS with 12 bolt rear axle, and with power front disc brakes but we have no documentation. This car is on new Keystone Wheels and new American tires. It is fun to drive, and can be an everyday driver, or is ready for the next cruse night and car show. This car has finished a two year restoration and the body is painted teal with a black stripe. We have just completed the new bedliner spray and a brand new vinyl top installed. The cowl tag & VIN tag have never been off of the car. The interior is in good condition. It has new Auto Meter gages in the dash, new vintage air conditioning , and a black bench seat with black carpet. This 350 motor had been recently rebuilt. The distributor, with all new wires and plugs, has been upgraded to the new electronic system with a new alternator that is internally regulated. This 1971 Chevrolet El Camino runs and drives strong and to say that it is fun to drive would be a understatement. This El Camino is a great collector car for a Chevrolet muscle car enthusiast and will continue to appreciate in value as the years go by. This is a fun running car in every sense of the word.
