1968 Porsche 912 Soft Window TargaChassis 12870668Engine 4093792Story goes, car was a long term restoration project until owner passed. Following work was completed:Paint/Body - Car was sprayed white, originally Burgundy Red (017). Has some dings and scratches from being garage art.Mechanical - 901 5spd transmission rebuild, top end motor rebuild. This is hear-say since I was not able to discuss the details with the PO (for obvious reasons) but evidence is there. I have a receipt for the transaxle work.Tins/peripherals (included) need to be installed to get the car running. I'm certain it needs brake work as well. I went through the painstaking process of sourcing engine tins, mostly original Porsche metal in good condition. 568 coded 5 1/2 Fuchs wheels on the car. Maybe original spec?Comes with a bunch of misc. parts as shown in photosI'd rate the interior as "serviceable but aged", front seats are in pretty good shape. This will be a wicked cool car with mechanical work to get it moving.Regarding rust - the car's had a mediocre rust patch job on the pan on driver's side. From what I can tell the car seems pretty dry. Rockers are nice. Car had dealer AC installed at some point (now gone) but some components and install remnants remain.Will consider trades for equitable, interesting non-projects cash up/down. I'm just too busy for projects (so I have come to realize). These are fantastic inflation hedges. Grab one of these before it's too late!
