1968 DODGE CHARGER R/T440 MAGNUM 727 TORQUEFLITENUMBERS MATCHINGORIGINAL FENDER TAG VERY SOLIDJJ1 Medium Gold MetallicThis Charger R/T is a great candidate for restoration as it still has the original engine and transmission in it. This was a factory undercoating car which means it survived all these years very nicely. Very solid undercarriage and floors. No obvious signs of major collision, although I think the Right Quarter has been replaced. It is very complete with original seats but obviously needs a complete restoration.Based on what I see now you will need a trunk floor, rear valance and corners, trunk floor extensions and both quarter panels. Everything else looks very solid and undamaged. The good news is that I have personally inspected the car and can confirm that the engine and transmission are original to the car and match the VIN. Fender tag and dash VIN are original and in very readable condition. I see a lot of Mopars so I know that this is a good start for someone due to the solid body and complete car.The bad news the engine does not turn over. I put a breaker bar on it and it's stuck. Not knowing why it's stuck all I can figure is best case scenario it needs a straight forward overall and worst case might mean the cylinders got wet and rusted and may need sleeves. It's possible this car got flooded at some point based on the sediment on the K member and inside the car. I didn't clean it so you can be your own judge. The car will roll and steer but IS NOT driveable.
