1979 Ford F250 Custom 4x4 I have a 1979 Ford F250 Custom 4x4 for sale. If you are looking at this, then you know these F250’s are hard to find in good condition like this one. The body was painted Ford Tobacco Metallic over 10 years ago and is a better than driver quality job with scratches and chips here and there. The bedsides were both replaced and the rest of the body is in great solid condition apart from a couple spots on the floor pans. Mileage on the odometer shows 101242. The interior is in good original condition, the gauges work as they should and all the glass is clear without cracks. The engine is the 351 Cleveland V8 with an automatic transmission, It runs and drives great. It has front disc brakes, power steering, custom rear bumper and dual exhaust. This F250 had an extensive mechanical restoration in 2013, I have all the receipts, and has been driven about 100 miles a year since that work was done. The instructions to the shop doing the work were “make it so I can drive back and forth to California without any issuesâ€. Still doesn’t have any leaks! These Ford Trucks are going up in value, and they won’t go back down.
