New clutch, 3 speed column shift and a flattie V-8 with dual exhaust, which was completely rebuilt with less than 2K miles. A first class paint job and correct restoration. Some facts regarding the cars history: I purchased the Ford on 6-3-15 from De Pere Auto in De Pere WI., a classic car dealer. Sally Oliver and deceased husband Robert were the previous owners. They owned the car approximately 5-6 years. They purchased the car from Randy Hallman Classic cars in Iron Mountain Michigan. The car was obtained by Hallman thru a car broker who drove the car from Oregon to Arizona, then was transported to Michigan. The car was previously owned by Wayne and Rosella Yoder of Aurora Oregon.  Sam Parker of Oregon (an officer in the Early V-8 Club of America) sold the car to Wayne Yoder in 1981. Sam Parker had bought the car from Ron Thorne of Salt Lake, Utah, a well-known early Ford V-8 car and Woodie collector.  The car is an original low mileage car and was wrecked at one time on the passenger side. It sat for a long period of time before it was repaired, the passenger door and front fender were replaced with used parts, the guess is around the late 50's. The car was repaired by Stan Dietz, a renowned vintage Ford body man who then presumably sold it to Ron Thorne. The car was built at the Long Beach, Ca. factory and was said to have been in Washington state as well. The car is an early 1948 build and has a 1948 Ford heater. Told by Sam Parker, the 1949 Ford designed heaters weren’t available when the 49’s were released so the dealers installed 1948 Ford heaters. The engine color is dark blue not bronze, indicating an early build car. Ask any questions.
