History: This Cadillac was built in Detroit and shipped to Tulsa OK on March 24,1941 ordered by a doctor. I was told by the second owner (we are the 3rd owners) he bought the coupe from the Doctor’s spouse when the Doc passed and shipped it to his ranch near Rapid City,South Dakota. I bought it from the 92 old rancher who was selling off his collection in 2005 and shipped it toWisconsin. We drove it original for two summers and in the fall of 2006 started the frame off rebuild.The Build: We wanted a Rusto-rod that could take us coast to coast. Over 9years the build progressed. After many hours, a lot help from friends andprofessionals and over 160k invested we accomplished our goal (hundreds of photos of her evolution). Zero rust on this car, only patch panel was for newsteering column. Though we have nottaken her coast to coast she has been on numerous long-distance trips with noissues and rides like a dream.
