Up for sale is a very original 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air two door hard top. This little Chevy is a three-owner car from new and all the owners were friends that bought the car from each other through the years. This owner has had the car for 33 years. Originally bought here in Lewiston Idaho and has lived its entire life in the aria. Now it is for sale. The body has had one repaint many years ago, but it is showing its age with a few nicks and some minor rust on the lower front passenger side fender and on the eyebrow of that fender. Also, a small rust spot on the same side rear lower fender. (Please look at the pictures closely) The floor panes are very nice with no rust out at all, and this owner has just striped the entire bottom of the car and has primer / sealed the entire bottom. He also removed the gas tank, cleaned it and the underside where it sits, then reinstalled it. He said that the original tank was like new when he cleaned it inside and out. The interior is very original, headliner, seats, and beautiful dash. The factory radio and optional radio rear speaker knob are on the dash, and it has its clock. The carpeting looks like it has been changed at some time. All glass is very nice, and all windows roll up and down as they should. The original 265 V8 engine starts easy and runs very nice, the engine was overhaled years ago as was the Power Glide transmission. This car has power steering and drives nice. A history book from past owners comes with the car. I'm listing this little Chevy for my friend and will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs.
