Electronic ignition & after market high output coil High torque modern starter Rebuilt carburetor with manual choke Newer alternator Original blue paint in a few areas then nice old aluminum panels show This Land Rover sat up near the US Capitol for probably 20 years before I bought it at a local auction. I had hoped to restore it but realized at 65 that I should concentrate on my other cars like a 914 & a 2002tii. Great points: it runs unlike many for sale that have sat for years in a barn. I have driven it around North Beach, MD on the side streets. It runs nice but I did have trouble sorting out the shift pattern a few times. Needs some frame repair & that’s mostly in the very rear where the very large cross brace is. A new rust free piece can easily be sourced from the well known parts dealers.
