This old girl is awesome! We have rebuilt the carb, cleaned her up, and changed all the fluids. Really, this is an excellent unrestored example of one of the most iconic cars of all time. The top is in excellent condition as is the interior. There are no distracting signs of wear. The power top works, the power windows work, as does the seat. The climate control is a little funky. It blows hard and with plenty of heat, but doesn't have a low setting that is functional. Also, the AC unit has been converted to the new style, but we have not had it running. It appears to be a simple wiring issue. It starts, drives and runs very well. There's a bit of an exhaust leak, but nothing major. Tires are new as are the wheels they sit on. We also have the originals...even the hubcaps. The color I am told was called Fawn. Funny....it kind of looks like a fawn I guess. The body itself is overall way above average. We have had the car in the air, and the underside is also excellent. The paint is faded, and thin.....but it still carries the total cool factor well. If you've looked around for one of these, you know they come in 2 styles. Super expensive, or rats. This one is neither. It is a nice clean daily driver that anyone could be proud of.
